Yeah you do! We will be creating event committees to organize the community roundtable and the sustainability dinner in Dewick. Committee leaders will work with the exec board and the events coordinator to plan, publicize, and work at these events.

If you are interested in taking on a leadership role as the head of one of these committees, email Katie Segal. If you do not want to head a committee but want to be involved, you will have the opportunity to join a committee at a later date--stay tuned!

Tufts Dining has received an invitation to take a small group of students to the Ocean Spray cranberry bog and production facilities for a tour! Ocean Spray is a huge company and right in our backyard; it will be very interesting to get a glimpse into the supply chain of such a large corporation. Please let us know if you are interested here.

A new group at Tufts, the Responsible Endowment Coalition, has created a petition to be sent to President Monaco and the Board of Trustees on redirecting the investment of endowment funds away from fossil fuels and towards socially and environmentally responsible funds. Please read the full text of the petition carefully and sign if you are interested.
